Out and About…Bangkok
This is what Dad says about these photos:
The two guys in their underwear were standing along the canal during a boat tour we took with Mike and Eit. I grabbed a couple of pictures and told Urai to offer them 100 baht to let me take some better ones. She was speaking to them in Thai, but they apparently didn’t understand — they were probably illegal Burmese workers.
As soon as they saw the 100 B note in my hand, one of them jumped into the water and swam out to the boat to get it. Then they started asking for more money, and Urai thought it was best to leave…

I didn’t realize my friend Elizabeth had a tattoo on her ankle, until I spied it while she was playing with her son, Daniel, at the National Building Museum’s outdoor sculpture.
